As we step into December, it’s the season for lights, decorations, hot chocolate by a roaring fire, and of course, Christmas music. It’s truly the most wonderful time of the year! Some of you probably waited until the day after Thanksgiving to start enjoying anything Christmas-related. Others of you may have started a month ago! (You know who you are…)

Either way, you probably have your list of your favorite Christmas songs you like to listen to for the next couple of weeks. We’ll be singing them in church too. Here’s a fun little trivia about Christmas songs: Can you figure out which carols these are?

(answers below)

Yonder in a Hay Rack

Listen, Aerial Spirits Are Announcing

Hallowed Post Twilight

While you may have your Christmas playlists set for this season, there is an ORIGINAL playlist of songs we see in the book of Luke. 4 different characters in the story; 4 different songs. These will be the texts of our sermon series through the month of December to help us celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In the midst of the hustle and bustle, let’s remember the true reason for the season. Let’s tune our hearts to join the chorus of praise, prophecy, and wonder of His arrival into our world!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas,

Pastor Steve
